We have not been able to locate John, Marisa, Al or his wife yet. Any help would be appreciated. We do know that Marissa is now driving a new car (glad I could help you pay for it). We know Marissa doesn't have a job so where did she get the money for the car? Oh, she must have gotten it from her husband, you know the one she said she didn't know was stealing money. Yes, that one. Marissa has been spending the stolen money from the beginning even though she claims she didn't know about the fraud (at least she acknowledges that John did commit fraud).
What has she been living on for the past20 years if it wasn't money John was stealing?

I don't know where they are but I'm sure it is the wife's doings. I seriously think she is the brains behind the whole scam. She truly sold us on his ventures until we bought in. Then, she faded away (sorry, hid out). Angry lady now, from what I hear... playing like she just discovered John's thievery and can't believe that people think she knew anything about it. Hellloooo... how have you paid the bills all these years when neither of you worked? We are not idiots. Okay, we were when we listened to you only because we had never been taken until you two came along. Wow, has it changed our lives. I hope the day is upon us soon when you will pay for all the damage you cause.

ReplyDeleteI think they're hiding but that's okay. We're not talking to her as much now that we've called the OPD. Story is TRUE. Our "friend", really acquaintance b/c she never really let us get that close, is a fake. The family always seemed a little off so I called the police department out of curiosity. The Cantus have been stealing from middle-class honest people, many at St. John's. Do not be fooled or befriend them as you will CERTAINLY be their next victim (warn the OPD). The police said they fleeced their best friend for more than anyone can imagine - people they went on vacation with every year, spent new years with, coached sports teams with - and, this family they stole everything from...was a Christian family from St. John's.
